Military school or an academy is an educational institution which prepares the students for service in the officer corps in the army,navyor the air force.Military school basically is a place which provides education in a service enviornment where discipline and rules are the core irrespective of the choice of the students iwhether they want to choose a career in the service or elsewhere.Self discipline,moral values,respect for seniors and fellow candidates,tough physical fitness regimens,and a curriculam which develops them academically are the prime focuses of a military school.Military school can teach a teen values like honesty,leadership,teamwork,coping with stress both mental and physical.It teaches them to become responsible citizens,who respect the rights of others.Students learn to be independant and accountable for their own actions.In addition a Military school teaches leadership skills necessary to guide others,encourages solidarity among students and teaches team work.
Extracurriculam activities are given much importance ,the military schools have their own sports teams,bands playing wonderful music ,debating teams.They are made to strive hard to excel.The pupils get a choice to get into the wide variety of oppurtunities that lie ahead after the military school since they are polished to face challenges better than in any other setting.Military schools not only end with the basic education they have a vast range of service speciality courses which the students can easy enter due to their specialised upbringing in a military school.
Military schools have a very rigid timetable for the students which has to be followed strictly.From the moment they wake up ,go to the class and participate in sporting and extracurricular activities they are made aware of the need for discipline in all they do.Every student is an equal in a military school,every student is exposed to the prospect of instilling good qualities.It is an ideal setting for the development of of an indivisuals character.They learn to be ethical and their spiritual development is allowed to bloom.The schools are widely known for the corporal punishments,penalties and punishments,Any kind of indiscipline is not entertained.The punishments are usually intense physical activities but if serious misconduct they can be expelled which is a very bad remark.The military school for troubled teens is an ideal place for reforming and turning into a new leaf.Parents get their children in to the school either if they have a service background or parents looking to discipline their spoiled teens.The decision has to be conciously made to suit the requirements of the family specially the teenager they plan to enroll considering the long rigorous curriculum.
